My car inspection was due in September and now it's April. Got ticket from state police. What do I do ?

Your action will depend upon the amount of time and effort you wish to devote to this. This violation carries no points and the only penalty is a fine. I suggest you get your vehicle inspected immediately and affix and obtain proof of the passing inspection. You can plead not guilty if you like and show them the proof of a passing inspection and they may dismiss the ticket. But that takes more time than the fine. I reccomned paying the ticket and moving on. Regardless, get the vehicle inspected ASAP if it going to be parked on the street or driven to avoid additional citations for the same lack of inspection.
