I dread going to work every day and im hesitant about going to HR about it fearing how i will be treated after. My boss has been with the company over 20years and ive been there just 1year. He has alot of pull there as well as friends but i think some people will confirm what they hear him say to me in front of them. Need help!!!!
It does not matter who he is. You are best served if you immediately report his conduct in writing to HR. The employer will then be under duty to investigate and implement appropriate measures (e.g. discipline, even termination ) to ensure that the work environment is free from such discriminatory conduct. Keep in mind as well that if your retaliated against at all for reporting such a claim (which is considered a protected activity) you will also have retaliation claim. Best of luck.
