My aunt is my account holder till im 30 for my trust account now im 30 she say oh i put it in a CD how can i get my money?
If CD is in the name of a trust established for your benefit, the Trustee of the Trust has the authority to cash-in the CD and withdraw the money. If you requested the funds, and the Trustee refuses a reasonable request to distribute, you may be able to file a petition in Probate Court to compel the Trustee to distribute the funds. You may also have grounds to have the Trustee removed for a Breach of Trust for failing to abide by the terms of the trust. It is advisable to seek legal counsel to advise you of your rights, and the best course of action for your situtation.
