She did not give the baby his last name. She already denied him the right to see his son at the birth, and now she is keeping baby from him. He doesn't know where she is? She lived with me here at my home, as her parents knocked her out of her home. But my son decided he would not marry her, so her parents came and moved her out...and now they seem to be influencing her decision to keep him from the baby. He needs help. I don't know what to advise him. What would be his best course of action? He has tried reasoning with her. He did cause her scorn by breaking up, but he wants to be there for his child. He has every right to see the baby doesn't he?
He can file a paternity action to get rights. The Court will determine custody, parenting time and child support. This is easiest to do with an attorney. Have your son contact an attorney to go over his case in more detail. Good Luck.
