I received a ticket for misdemeanor posecssion of marijuana in Idaho, I was not arrested. It was my first offense ever. The judge offered diversion, a small fine and a 6 month probation period. If I accepted, the case would be dismissed. I agreed and its been two years ago since the probation ended. The probation officer pointed out that once completed I could legally answer no to any criminal record on my student loan applications. My question is does that include employment applications?
In KY, you would be eligible to file a petition to expunge the record and once granted it would no longer exist. Contact local cousel in your area to get the record expunged.
