So I bumped into this lady like 4 days ago and scratched her rear bumper. She didn't have her insurance on her just the policy number but she said it's fine if I pay for a repaint on her bumper. So she got my insurance info and I only got her driver license info and a picture of the scratches. I called my insurance to claim an minor accident but the claim is not yet completed due to the lady not answering my insurance company phone calls to accept that she won't put a claim on her side of insurance....and now she's tell me there was a Crack and have to pay $1000 for a new original bumper and painted to match her car... since there's no report filed is the claim not valid anymore or can she still screw me over with the insurance?
A claim can be processed. This is why it is important to take photos with your cell phone at the scene of the accident. Your insurance company will handle it. Let them do it. Don't talk to her anymore, and let your insurance company investigate.
