I purchased a king size mattress 11/29/19. Got it home, laid on it and instantly realized it was NOT the display mattress that I antically laid on and thought I purchased. Bed is horribly uncomfortable and the springs pop. I called the seller the next day and told him I needed to return this mattress and he said final sale. Of course I’m financing on it but unbelievably unsatisfied and the guy ignores me so my only option is a volunteer repo. My first payment isn’t even due yet and I’ve been given the run around since the day I purchased. Would I be able to fight this? Dispute this repo? I know this is the best and only option but terrified that it’s going to destroy my credit and I’ll have no luck getting it removed.
If you were given the wrong product, you can dispute it. You could check the financial statement to see if he sold you the correct mattress or not. Then you might consider contacting the finance company (if different from the store) and explaining the issue to them. Also might consider reporting this information to the credit agencies.
