And if so how do i go about gettin a divorce?, can i file here in the US( Ar) because I dont wont to go back to kenya!,can i just not declare the marriage and be on my way, if one country doesnt know about another country marriage why even divorce in the US
The answer to the question "why" is easy. To save yourself a lot of heartache later when something happens and you find out that your marriage to the gentleman in the U.S. is not valid and you are not entitled to any survivor benefits or inheritance -- or when the gentleman from Kenya shows up after a number of years and makes a claim against your property because you're his wife. Not to mention going through life knowing that your marriage is void and that little thing about bigamy being a crime.
So, spend a little time and a little money now --- or spend a lot of time and money and suffer a lot of stress later.
