I Parked my car in the college campus parking lot. There was also a maintenance truck parked behind me. I was in and out of building with in five minutes and notice my cars rear end was damaged and the truck is gone. No proof, no cameras, no one see the incident. Reported to campus safety and police There insurance denied the claim. Driver of the vehicle also denied. I am Frustrated. Please help.
It's going to be hard to prove the maintenance truck caused the damage. If you have collision coverage, report it to your insurer and let them deal with it. If not, recovery will be difficult.
Though we strive to provide accurate legal information in our answers on AVVO, our answer should not be construed as legal advice and it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Our firm only forms attorney-client relationships by written agreement signed by both our firm and the client. Please seek an in-person consultation with an attorney immediately as almost all legal matters are time sensitive and failing to meet deadlines can result in adverse consequences.
The extent of your Damage should be considered.
No attorney client relationship has been formed until you sign a representation agreement.
The easiest way to get your car fixed is to submit the claim to your insurance. Unfortunately you may have to pay your deductible.
