im worried my relationship could get me legally in trouble... my girlfriend is a year and a half younger and our relationship is balanced, lots of love and respect and everything.... im just worried bc we're long distance and they live in california, and i'll turn 18 before them. i dont live in the US and our parents dont know about the relationship, especially my girlfriend's because while my girlfriend says their mother would never do anything legally their mother is homophobic. and there are always ways things could be used against me. so yeah im just? legally worried because its such a deep issue and i know my girlfriend can feel me freaking out and drawing away but im scared. we can see a future together, and its 9 months until i turn 18 but i've heard from lawyers online that it's still risky to be romantic or even mention sexual stuff no matter how vaguely and unrelated to each other or the future.
