I work for Company A in L1B Visa (L1b Visa was expired and currently working in I94). I got my H1B approved for Company B on October. What is the grace perios that I have to start working for Company B? As per Company A policy, i need to give them 2 weeks of notice period.
Please help. Thanks Adan , Alex and Tripti for answers , I just realized that no grace period, My company B told the project that it initially filed h1b for, no longer exist and searching for placing me in another. Was asking me to hold on to company A, so i did. Now as per your advice, resigned my company A. Meantime Company A has generated payroll last month, this month and another final settlement to be run after few days. Will there be any consequences to be faced because of these two payrolls?
None. You are on H1B as of the moment of the approval and working for L1 employer is no longer allowed.

Look at the approval notice and check the start date approved by the USCIS.
