I have a long term j1 research visa and it will end after 2 months , I don't have the 2 years requirement , my question is after my j1 research visa ends and I return to my home currently if I get matched this year can i get the j1 clinical , or I cant get it before 1 year pass after my visa ends? In the visa website it say that if you stay more than 7 months you cant get another j1 unless after 1 year.
I believe that the 1 year wait is correct.

I believe 1 year is required no matter whether switching from researcher or clinical. Check with DSO.
