I sent email to court clerk at municipal court. Answer was something like "Hello, your case will be presented to judge and I will notify on you on the outcome...", and few days later i received email where they say "Complaint#(case number) was dismissed on the record on (date) in court room 5 at 1 pm session."
Does this mean that the complaint was dismissed or the case was dismissed?
The complaint against you with that number was dismissed. Good old Jersey City ;-)

I would send back another email clearly stating your question and asking that. Only the court knows truly what happened
