Okay, my sister has an extensive history of schizophrenia, and has been on disability for such for a good number of years now, she was cited a ticket for jaywalking, at that time she, was "fair" mentally, -comes and goes-. yet sometime after and during the time for court appearance, she was living, although she has a residence, in a deserted field, -clearly gone- and now just recently returned home, anyway a warrant has been ordered due to her failure to appear, and we are not sure how to proceed from this point. she has little money on SSD, so paying large sums at once or at this time is not an option, yet we fear if she goes to authorities prior to paying, will be locked up. has been found incompetent to stand trial once before in past, old federal case, by the way.. long story!
That is a long story regarding a JAY WALKING ticket! Sheesh. Given all her issues, does it really matter that she has a warrant in Vegas? Either way, retain an attorney in Las Vegas to handle the warrant. Wow, that was a long story over a jay walking ticket....
