So I just got out of the ER. I was on my way to work and I became crazy nauseous and stomach pains. The nurse was so nice listened to me and said let's get to the bottom of this, but the ER Doc was extremely biased. I've been having these issues for a year but lately have been getting worse based on certain foods. The doc diagnosed me with GERD. Didn't do any tests to confirm just blood test and urine. She completely blew me off didn't really pay attentino to what I was saying and all of a sudden started asking me if I've been tested for HIV and my boyfriend was there and she was like do you guys have sex with condoms and she was like you should and does your primary and gi doc know your gay and looked at axel and was like you should get tested. And I was like I was 5 months ago and she was like you should do it again and completely just blew me off.
This doesn't sound like malpractice. Talk to your regular physician about running more tests and for second opinion to either confirm the ER doctor's diagnosis, or else see if something else is causing your health issues.
It might be a bad bedside manner, but since you weren't hurt by the doctor (thank goodness) a lawyer can't really do anything for you.
