Me and my husband got into a fight and he left before things escalated. someone had called the cops and i made false accusations about him to the police and now he has a felony warrant for non aggravated assault. He is also currently on parole
Lying to the police is never a good idea. Talk to an attorney before doing anything more. Unfortunately, the way to get him out of trouble may involve you admitting you lied to the police and that is potentially a crime.
I’m a lawyer, I’m not your lawyer. This answer posted on Avvo is for informational and educational purposes only. There is no attorney-client relationship created or formed and you should not rely on this as legal advice. The suggestion is made that if you wish to protect your rights, you consult with an attorney immediately.,
