There has been a civil harassment restraining order filed against me by someone who the only contact I've had with has been initiated by the petitioner. Also it has been over two months without any contact at all yet the request was files last week. I'm perplexed & suspect it to be a play for future monetary suit as I have just received a substantial inheritance.
Yes, you hire a lawyer to oppose the restraining order.
Who initiated the contact is immaterial, it behavior that the court looks to.
