While eating a bowl of Cinnamon Toast crunch cereal,I spotted what appeared to be an animal tail. Rodent tail ?????
While that is certainly disgusting and an appetite killer, it's probably not going to amount to lawsuit material absent some clear harm or damages that resulted to you. In other words you could take legal action but it's likely not worth the time and expense for what you would actually recover in the end. Short of filing a lawsuit, you can still complain to the manufacturer to recover the money paid for the cereal and to obtain some extra free products or coupons.

Of course there is a breach of warranty. I would contact the manufacturer and send pictures and seek redress through them. A lawsuit would be too costly. I would also report it to consumer protection agencies so that they can keep track of these types of things. Good luck.
Yecky experience ... and I assume you saved the evidence to show in court and whatever lawyer will handle it...ask yourself this: how were you hurt? Did you just toss out the cereal and go about your business?
