I worked for a medical device company and was let go when false allegations were made about my job performance by a new VP. Since this happened I have found further information out about the VP and he has also been terminated by the same company. My firing happened on March 8, 2013. I had worked for 13 years with excellent reviews and had received performance raises as recently as June 2012.I live in Pennsylvania but the business I worked for is based out of Portland Oregon.
If this was truly a "wrongful termination", then the statute of limitations for government filed claims is 180 days and for civil claims in PA the statute of limitations is 2 years.

Yes, there is. You likely have a timeliness problem with various statutes of limitation which give you under 2 years to sue usually. The only employment law related claim that has a 3 year statute I recall is FMLA, and you have to prove willful conduct over 2 years. You have not given enough information that would indicate to an attorney even if there was not a statute of limitations problem that you have or do not have a claim. If you are reluctant to say important facts in public (you should be reticent), you should seek a confidential consult from an attorney.
Given the short statute of limitations in the employment context and the type of company that you worked for, you might also consider whether you have information that would implicate the False Claims Act.
