Short answer is yes. as long as it is not invading your privacy. Photos should not be of your personal belongings but nothing to prevent the owner from taking photos showing the general condition and layout of the premises.

It is a common courtesy and implied in the notion of landlord's entitlement to reasonable access on notice.

Yes, so long as your landlord gave you at least 24 hours notice, or any notice as required in your lease (if you have one). If you have any other clause in your lease in regards to entry by the landlord in anticipation of selling the property, your landlord may have reserved more rights for themselves for just this type of issue. It would be best to consult you lease, or take it to a local attorney to have them review it with you to know your rights.
