trying to find out if a person has money where they sued my insurance company
Almost all County Courts have an online database where you can search by name to see if there has been a lawsuit filed, and if it is currently pending or has been resolved/dismissed.
There are many online resources such as LEXIS Accurint and Pubblicdata.com, both of which require a subscription. You can also check with the District and County Court websites in each county.
Accepting cases in Dallas, Denton, Collin and Tarrant Counties. THIS IS GENERAL ADVICE AND DOES NOT REPLACE A PERSONAL CONSULTATION WITH AN ATTORNEY AND DOES NOT ESTABLISH AN ATTORNEY/CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
I don't think such a data base exists....you can find a electronic data base with reported cases from most (but not all) courts
Yes and no. There are places you can look. The district clerk's office and the county clerk's office of Bexar County. But suit could be in Federal Court as well and so you would have to check in the federal district clerk's office of the Western District of Texas. Then again, do you know if the suit you are looking for would be filed in San Antonio? Without knowing the facts, you cannot be sure where it would be filed, if it was filed.
