Previous tenants left a working washer and dryer in the home when they left.
Both are old but were working. Dryer has since quit, and current tenant wants a new dryer. Is the landlord obligated to replace?
The lease will determine such. If the lease states that such is included, or eludes to such it may be understood by the tenant that they had rented a home with a washer/dryer. If the lease excludes such the opposite would be the case. If it is silent the other terms of the lease, prior repairs, etc. may provide guidance.
