We had a huge hail storm broke windows they didnt fix them for 6 months and our electric bill went way up and were freezing in below zero temps and snow no windows. I dealt with it. Now im sick and they want to show the house like 3 or 4 times a day and I have a dog. I cant do it. She said I have to or she will charge 75 dollars every time I dont let someone see the house. They even do it on Sunday I go to church. What do I do?
Your rights depend on your lease. If it says that A landlord may show the premises to prospective buyers without notice and at any time, then they can do that. If the lease says they can charge you $75 each time you refuse to allow that, they can charge you that.
If the lease says nothing (which would be rare)( on their right to show, then it is up to you. Now, frankly, that would be very rare. Even if there is no language, they can certainly enter when needed for repairs or emergencies.
