My husband filed divorce papers n 2015 I didn't want the divorce he kept telling me he was not goin through w it he quit his job so I wouldn't get anything I didn't reply or anything to papers when I was served we were married 15 years an he has a trust but not n his name his mother gives him cash whenever needed so I got nothing I worked first 7 yrs we were married an he didn't at all til last 3 yrs is it too late to do anything
A lot depends on when the final judgment was, if it was in 2015, then you probably cannot do anything at this point. The assets he may have had at the time would have been part of equitable distribution and not modifiable. It sounds like you were defaulted because you did not answer his petition, in order to vacate the default you would have to show you were never served or the court did not have jurisdiction over the case. It is highly recommended that you consult counsel if you intend on trying to undo the final judgment.
As you did not participate in the proceeding, you need to have the order reviewed by an attorney to explain to you what you are entitled to right now. Next, you could then explore with your attorney what options you may have in terms of setting aside the prior judgment.
