I understand reentry is a very low chance however I want to know if immigration would stop her from leaving the United States to Italy. She recently received a Honduran Passport in February 2018. She has no visa stamps or anything. She has been living here since an adolescent. Her passport is blank with no way to prove she has been living in the United States illegally technically, correct ?Would immigration stop her even though she is taking a one way flight out the country ?
I have not heard of DHS preventing people from leaving the U.S. at most airports, however there were reports of some people being detained and deported trying to leave the U.S. several years ago.
