I was sentenced to 5 yrs felony probation for DWI in 2008, for the past 3 yrs of probation I have accomplished alot, I received a Certificate of Relief from the judge and asked to be released from probation early to move to Florida to continue school, the Judge verbally agreed but probation transferred me as I moved to Saratoga County,I have the transcripts that state he was ok with me being released if they agreed but they didn't!! I filed complaints again them with the director and the NYDCJS but they disregarded the complaint.

You can try but it will be very difficult to succeed!

Speak to a local lawyer...if you are still looking to move to Florida the lawyer could attempt to get it transferred to Florida, although without knowing all of your facts, that is unlikely. Alternatively he could bring an Order to Show cause in the court in your current jurisdiction to see if you can be released from probation early...he should attach to it the transcript of whatever the prior judge said and also your certificate of relief. If you are no longer looking to move to Florida however, it is unlikely you will be released from probation.
