My credit score dropped from 700 to 520 in April because I have 11 parking tickets in collections. I was a monthly subscriber to the lot and received these tickets because I consistently forgot to change my pass at the turn of the month. I called in on several occasions to waive tickets, and they said they would waive them because I always paid my monthly fee.
You have no legal basis to force them to remove the tickets from your credit report. However, sometimes creditors will all you to "pay for deletion," so ask them if they'd agree to delete them if you paid in full. If you explain the situation they might agree to do so. Good luck.
Even if they won't remove them, it won't take long to reestablish your good credit if you don't have other negative information on your credit. Work something out with the collection agency and work on improving your credit (don't forget the change your pass at the end of the month!).
