Have tried several times over the past 2 years to contact other party on deed & no response. Bank accepting buyer's offer but say 2nd party signature needed. I have not seen nor heard from this man in 6 years. Co-owned property in foreclosure. He has avoided summons on other property he owns as well as my & realtor's efforts to contact him. No current address. I filed bankruptcy & was granted July 2011. There is NO equity in house.
There will be title issues for the buyer if there's only one signature. The way to avoid that is by trying to obtain a court order allowing for one party to sell the property.
