I feel like this judge already has his mind made up about my case, for several reasons we were given body cams from the raid that day, but the police dept did not give us all of them there r several that r missing my public defender asked for more time so we can get them he said the judge said No but asked what is it we need them for my lawyer explained because there is money that was stolen and not accounted for. The judge said y does it matter they found drugs there so this judge already has his mind made up and he doesn't care about the possibility that the officers r stealing money, i have a job the money was from work but how do we prove anything when they didn't write down that they even took any money
Talk to your attorney about this. It is possible for an attorney to request the judge assigned to your case to disqualify himself or herself for reasons of bias or prejudice, but it is not possible to pick any particular judge to handle your case. CCP 170.6.
If you feel my answer is "Best Answer" and/or "Helpful" please mark it so to acknowledge my assistance. Feel free to leave a comment also, as I appreciate all feedback, both favorable and unfavorable. If my response seems too general, it is because a complete and reliable answer or legal advice to the question is not possible without knowing all of the facts and circumstances of the case.
