Is it legal in Colorado to move states with your child without the fathers consent? What are my other options if not?

If you have no court orders then either parent can move where ever they wish and take the child. However, if you leave and the father files a petition for allocation of parental responsibilities before you have lived in another state for six months, you will have to address child custody and parenting time issues in a Colorado court. You need to be prepared for that possibility.
