We are in the midst of a contentious divorce. My husband while we were separated accessed my personal bank account (he was never on it) online without my permission. Then, his attorney who was eventually removed from the case for having sex with my husband, altered the document using Law Office software in order to hide what he did. He proffered the documents in Discovery as evidence. It was a very poor editing job and there is a trail on the document as to how it was produced and the date. Is that illegal in Texas?
Falsifying documents for court is both criminal and violative of the ethical standards of attorneys. This should be brought to the Court's attention, especially if it is a material fact in the case
