In 2015 I bought a laptop from Flexshopper through their lease to own program. I had nothing but problems from the start with the machine electronically but that's besides the point. I called them up to return the item because i could no longer afford the item, they asked me to email my account number to the returns department when i did, i received no response. Now 3 years later i get a call from an attorney saying im being sued in court by them for theft of goods and services from flex shopper. They aren't the original creditor, can they sue me?
you have a good defense to any claim _ the product was defective and they refused to take it back.
