If you are served a subpoena and a party who is listed in the suit or involved with the case hands you the subpoena does it violate the law and make the subpoena invalid? Can the case be thrown out of court?
You don't say if this small claims, county, or district court. I will assume it is county. In county, the party in the suit can serve you the subpoena.
