I work for Best Buy as a part time retail employee. I've been with the company for almost 4 years.
They took me off the schedule for no reason at all and did not give me any hours at all. I am very concerned! I asked around and this seems to be a common practice.
Plz help me with any info.
They do not want to lay me off at all due to their business needs have changed they are trying to get me to quit so do not have to pay any unemployment.
All management has been avoiding me.
Unless you were part of a union, you were an employee at will. That means that your employer can cut your hours for any reason, as long as it is not a discriminatory one (due to your race, national origin, religion, etc.).
