Can i get in trouble if i purchase a fake designer. Product like a belt or sunglasses i know selling is illegal. But what about buying
In general, no. People buy fake designer things all of the time and no one ever says anything about it, and that will probably be your experience. Now, purchasing something that you know is stolen is another story entirely. If you know that it is stolen or somehow is "contraband" then yes you could get into trouble. However, if you are just buying a knockoff belt or sunglasses then that's just capitalism working it's magic, no crime there.

Purchasing for resale can get you in a bind. But if you want to overpay for a knockoff of something, that's pretty much on you and your wallet unless you happen to be completing a transaction right when a raid takes place. Then your item might turn into evidence. Myself, I've never wanted a pair of reyban shades.
