My wife and I are divorcing and she produced a document in court with a business registered in my name claiming it as my additional income. I never opened a business nor was I aware that she used my identity to do so.
Thats a hefty tale to prove and a foolish effort on her part otherwise, but yes, if proven true would result in lots of issues ranging from forgery or possible perjury, as there are usually numerous entities involved. This is something that should ONLY be undertaken by a qualified lawyer.

I agree. Yes this would be fraud. It sounds like you are currently not represented in your divorce action. You can still get an attorney to help you and you probably should.
I agree that it is a fraud. I have seen it happen in many divorces. I question whether or not she opened credit cards in your name or in the business name. This is something you need to discuss with an attorney. It is a complicated situation, especially if you have children.
