Is it a criminal offense under Michigan law, for a father to put a permanent tattoo on the body of his 16 year old daughter? She gave her father verbal permission to do this (does not want her father to face criminal charges). That is what she tells police.
A tattoo is not a sex crime (unless it is on some specific areas of the body) so.. however whether the dad could get in trouble probably depends upon whether the father has legal custody.. which means he has a legal right to be at least part of the decisions involving the child.
