The father of my son is making him stand in the corner to the point where my child is telling me it makes his legs and especially his back hurt. This is usually a punishment for getting in minor to moderate trouble at school. I don't feel like physical pain is the answer to this type of problem and want to know how the courts might feel.
Courts tend to not micromanage how parents discipline their child unless the child's well being is at risk. If this type of punishment is has any long term risks then the Court's might be inclined to intervene. Otherwise this is an issue that you should address with the father of your son if you don't agree with his methods.
