I have permanent restraining order in place -from Julyn2015. Yesterday the offenders wife contacted me threatening that he will sue me if I do not go to the court and have it removed. Is this a violation in his order or is this a loophole - him using an intermediary?
If he asked her to communicate that to you, yes, he violated the restraining order. If it was her own idea, and he didn't instigate or promote it, then no.
I would consider reporting it to law enforcement, threatening he will sue you sounds like third party contact.
