I filed Chapter 13 BC in 2011 got my discharge in 2016. I was repaying all my secure debts via Trustee. All owed taxes were included. Final Order of discharge showed how much was paid towards my income taxes, I mailed it to IRS but they have been persistent and still trying to collect money which were already paid via repayment plan I had scheduled with my attorney. Please, let me know what should I do so IRS can stop sending me all the nasty letters saying that they will garnish my paycheck.
You might not be able to handle this yourself. The first thing you should do is inform your bankruptcy attorney, and ask that she/he handle this problem. This area of law is complex, and I often see this type of confusion.
