In my case my husband who lives in Pakistan received a interview date and he has all of his interview done and at the end they gave him blue slip that said refusal worksheet that's it nothing else. it doesn't say administrative processing or anything like that. they asked for my pregnancy test since i m expecting and they wanted doctors letter and my passport stamp from the time i visited Pakistan to make sure that i was in Pakistan with my husband when i became expected. this is so rediculous they don't believe my husband and think he is ineligible. i m having a baby in 5 months and need my husband here. the documents they wanted were sent to them and they have received it at the Islamabad embassy since 20 days, but thay keep my hubbys passport and all originl document.is Co ise visa
It sounds like they just needed additional evidence and they should process it soon. I would expect within the next few weeks, but if not, you should call the embassy and find out what the holdup is.
Best of luck!

I am not your lawyer solely because I answer this question or respond to any follow-up comments. If you want to hire me or are interested in a low cost or free consultation, please contact me. Otherwise, please don't expect a further response. We need an actual written agreement to form an attorney-client relationship. It's impossible to fully evaluate a legal problem without a comprehensive consultation and review of all the facts and documents at issue.
The Embassy obviously has concerns about the legitimacy of your
relationship. The Embassy will not process the case further until it
received a response to the 221(g) notice.
