My H1B recently got approved (after in RFE for few months) but I noticed that the name on the approval notice is incorrect. Lawyer entered my name before marriage on to the H1B application and so the name.
Can I officially/legally work now on H1B? Can my employer pay me?
Can I apply for SSN? (Would it work for SSN if I show them old H4 (with correct name) and new H1 (incorrect name) and that I 94 is same on both?
How to get this updated?
