In Ohio can grandparents file for custody
1 attorney answer
Grandparents can seek custody, but the divorce of the nature parents will not be sufficient grounds for a change of custody. The court will be guided by what is in the best interest of the child with the presumption that it is best for the child to be with one of the nature parents. You would need to prove that both parents were unfit.
