I am contesting a conservatorship. Me, a sibling for a lone parent. My parent wants me to be conservator. It has become complicated to include he said she said issues against me. The problem is that in 9 months no one "official" has bothered to ask my competent parent their side of the story. My sibling has told the court many lies about me that can be cleared up by my parent. The court appointed attorney for my mom has never visited her, just his assist, yielding nothing tangible discussed. How can court appointed attorneys properly represent my mom being so bogged down with other pending public commitments? This is why I want to retain a devoted attorney to understand my parents life wishes and for that to be accurately reported to the court on their, my behalf. Is this a wise move?
