In Iowa, under what circumstances can a probation officer revoke you without a summons or hearing and an opportunity to contest?

If your PO files it as a report of violation and requests a hearing, then you will be able to contest the violation. An attorney would help.
There’s nothing illegal about what your PO has done. You will have an opportunity to present your side to the judge.
