My divorced got postponed and I in anticipation have not enrolled him in my 2015 insurance year.My divorce was suppose to be final on dec.30th 2014 but it got delayed due to a form.Can I get in trouble?I cannot enroll him because they only do it once a year.What can happen to me?and what can I do to not get in trouble?
Fix the form error and complete the divorce ASAP and hope that your husband doesn't need your health insurance pending completion of the divorce. If your husband has a health problem before the divorce is completed, you may end up becoming his personal health insurer, pending completion of the divorce.
