In California, are all Penal Code section 290 registrants prohibited from living within 2000 feet of a school or park?
When do they need to start complying with it? After their probation is completed?
How to find such a place? Is there an online tool?Do you mean that they need to comply even before their probation actually begins?
Several courts in southern CA have invalidated the 2,000 foot requirement because it means that registrants are, in effect, banned from some cities. You need to consult an attorney in your area about what you can and can't do.
Talk to an attorney. Mr. KAMAN would be great help as he is in your area and knows the law very well.

You need to start complying with this as soon as you're released from custody and notified of the conditions of your probation and 290 registration.
I agree, this is too important to leave to guessing. You need an attorney's advice.
