The obligations regarding termite reports and termite repairs are usually set forth in the purchase and sale agreement. It is a contractual obligation. If your agreement did not mention anything about this, then the seller has no obligation to you the buyer to provide a termite report, nor to pay for the termite fumigation.
However, the seller has a statutory obligation to disclose whether the seller knew if the home had termite problems. Thus, if the seller had a termite inspection done before the sale, the seller had a duty to provide that report.
