Breach of Duty means you were fired for breaching a duty that you owed to the employer. You should be getting your determination in the mail soon. Make sure that you appeal the decision if it does state that you were discharged for just cause for breach of duty. The employer has to prove the breach of duty to an Administrative Law Judge. If the employer does not show up for the hearing then you will likely win. You should hire an attorney who is experienced in this type of law.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
