Since you've already filed a contempt action I assume there's already a final order in place and now your ex is trying to modify it because you're getting SSD and either he wants to pay less child support or pay none at all. It's a littly foggy but I think that's the gist of your question. The question of how Social Security disability payments may change child support obligations are tricky, depending on who the disabled person is, and it's hard for me to tell from your question whether it's you or the child.
